LEVEL:  Advanced Beginner

3 Classes, Saturdays Jan  13, 20 and 27 from 1 pm - 3 pm

The hardest thing about knitting toe-up socks is the cast on.  Once you've mastered that, you'll love this technique.  Shelly will guide you through the magic loop cast on , a simple heel construction and all the tricks to use every scrap of yarn, and deliver socks that fit perfectly, every time.

Required skills:  Ability to knit in the round using circular needles, pattern reading and a willingness to knit every knit to insure you keep up with the class.  Socks are knit on size 1 or 2 needless, so it's alot of knitting between classes!

Cost:  $45.00.  Please note:  You will pay the instructor on the first day of class.  Please be prepared to pay in cash or with a check.  Most instructors are not equipped to handle credit card transactions.

Materials:  US size 1 or 2 circular needle, 40 or 47" length cord, 100 grams of sock yarn, stitch markers and normal markers.  We require you to use yarn purchased at our shop.  Please do not ask us to make an exception for you.
