LEVEL: Advanced Beginner to intermediate

4 CLASSES  Tuesdays 6 - 8 pm 2/5, 2/12/ 2/19 and 2/26

Learn to knit socks from the toe up to insure a great fit using the formula in the Sockmaticians Toe-Ups Pattern along with a very comfortable cuff using a stretchy bind off. Joan will teach you the ever-popular and useful “Judy Becker’s Magic Cast on”, how to pick up stitches neatly, and a great, stretchy bind off.

Materials:  Approximately 250 yards of worsted weight yarn, size 5 double pointed needles and normal knitting notions, and in-store download of the “Sockmatician” pattern from Ravelry

Required skills:  Comfort knitting in the round on double pointed needles, casting on, knit and purl stitches.

Fine Print: You will pay the instructor the full class fee on the first night of class.  We require you to use yarn purchased at our store for all classes.  Students receive a 10% discount on all class supplies, while the class is running.
