Learn to Knit with Jane

Has learning to knit been on your bucket list?  Well, sign up now!  Jayne will teach you basic knitting skills while you knit a beautiful sampler scarf.  You will master casting on, the knit and purl stitches, basic pattern reading and binding off while you build a beautiful scarf that will teach you 6 different stitch patterns.

Materials:  400 yards of light colored, solid (we highly discourage you using variegated yarn to learn to knit) worsted weight yarn. We recommend Ella Rae Classic Wool, Kelbourne Woolens Germantown or Berroco Ultra Wool.   US size 8 straight needles, stitch markers, tapestry needle. Pattern will be provided by instructor at the first class.

Fine print: You will pay the instructor directly the first day of class. Please bring either cash or a check payable to the instructor. Yarn cannot accept a credit card payment for classes. Store policy requires you to purchase materials for all classes from us. Thank you for understanding our policy and not asking us to make an exception for you.
