Level: Complete Novice

5 Classes, Saturdays 10am  – noon Sept 24, Oct 1, 8, 15 & 22

1st date:  Come as you are!  Meet other people, find your soul-yarn, learn about the language, the tools, the techniques of knitting as a creative activity.  Explore the assets and debits of tension, too.  What does it do for love?

2nd date:  Dancing with Needles!  Bring you, your new soul-yarn, and your tools.  We will practice your loops.  Let's get some mileage on our fingers!  We provide the rhythm, the beat, the music!  

3rd date:  Fearless!  Now we'll create a little "choreography" with the loops we've learned so far, and make up a fabric, a magical fabric you and your soul-yarn create together.  Like Taylor Swift says in her song "Shake it Off":  "I make up the moves as I go!"

4th date:  Making Shapes!  It's so amazing to see something beautiful grow from the little movements your fingers make with your soul-yarn.  Let's find out what shape you will decide to create with your fabric.

5th date:  Complete this dance and Continue ON!  Congratulations!  You've finished your sample!  Would you buy a $60.00 bottle of wine without tasting?  Now that you've sampled knitting, we ask you and your soul-yarn, what would you like to do next?
