Meet fiber artist Suzan Condon and have the chance to view her amazing needlefelted landscape creations. Here's what Suzan has to say about her work:
I came by this art form in December of 2014 by way of a dear friend who taught me how to felt a ball. From that first gathering and forward I have fallen in love with the forgiving nature of wool, in its raw and dyed form, and creating pictures from it that come from my heart. I am a mountain woman having only lived in one other state, WVa. I was born near White River, I have always felt the the water flowing and forest and mountains surrounding me. What I felt comes from within me. I never know what will come when I begin. I hope you enjoy what arrived over the months since December. Each was made from the heart through the hands, with one needle and wool from hard working Vermont women's sheep or Alpacas. (Very few pieces have anything else in them). Suzan Courtemanche-Condon
