There is so much to reading a pattern. Sometimes you need to learn a whole new vocabulary. In this workshop, we will look at all aspects of the written pattern including how to interpret the charts and chart keys, studying the schematics and understanding what they will tell you about the finished garment, hints about the yarn gauge information can provide, looking at the photography to see if the photos have been styled to hide garment weaknesses, what all those parentheses and brackets mean, sizing and more. Feel free to bring a pattern you are contemplating, or just learn from the sample pattern provided at the class.
