2 Classes, Saturdays  1-3 pm  Oct 13 and 20

Cost:  $35.00 plus cost of materials

This project will make a GREAT holiday gift.  As Montpelier takes a look at it’s charter to ban single use plastic bags, we’ll all need washable, wearable FUN shopping bags.  Shelley will teach you a useful lace stitch, how to knit in the round, how to follow a pattern, knitting an I-cord, changing colors without tying knots and more. 

Necessary Skills:  You must be able to cast on, knit and purl.

Materials list:  US size 7, 40" circular needle, US size 9, 32" circular needle.  The instructor suggests you use a lace tip needle to make the yarn over decreases easier to work.  2 skeins of Plymouth Forget Me Not cotton.  You can use one or two colors, your choice.  Stitch markers and normal knitting accessories are also helpful.  The instructor will provide the pattern on the first day of class.

Please note:  We require that yarns used in our classes are purchased from us.  Students receive a 10% discount on class supplies while the class is running.
